Sardine Moqueca Recipe

Ingredients to make Sardine Moqueca:
⅓ onion dish (dessert) cut into slices (50g)
⅓ dish (dessert) of green peppers cut into slices (35g)
⅓ tomato dish (dessert) cut into slices (80g)
1 can of sardine with herbs Gomes da Costa (125g)
4 teaspoons of light coconut milk (30ml)
parsley leaves to garnish
salt and pepper sauce to taste
How to make Sardine Moqueca:
Arrange the layers of onion, peppers, tomato and sardines interspersed in a skillet or small pan for moqueca. Season the ingredients with the sardine oil, salt and pepper sauce to taste.
Tip: The vegetables should be cut to the same thickness so that they cook evenly.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until you see the vegetables are cooked through. After this time, the vegetables should be cooked, but without falling apart, keeping their shape.
Tip: Chop vegetables with a fork to make sure they are cooked.
After watering the preparation with coconut milk and place the parsley leaves. Cook without covering until it comes to a boil.
Tip: If you prefer, you can substitute half the amount of coconut milk for palm oil.
After the previous step, your canned sardine stew is ready. Serve in the pan, serve with traditional Greek rice and good appetite!
